This is an entry level position with apprenticeship potential for the right candidate. The shop assistant will be responsible for shipping and receiving, some inventory management, some assembly of parts, operation of the saw and fork lift, some driving, some building maintenance, and other tasks as assigned. It is considered a multi-faceted position that requires a good work ethic, strong learning, listening and communication skills, a minimum of a high school diploma, a driver’s license and clean driving record. We are looking for a person who is willing to be of good assistance to all of the machine shop staff with a wide variety of duties.
We are in need of trained CNC machinists. This machinist should have good ability to program and set up CNC machines, as well as operate those machines. Good mathematical skills and knowledge of metals and plastics is essential. This person will successfully read blueprints and parts drawings and should be able to contribute to the ideas and execution of machining that part in the most effective and efficient way possible. Minimum of a high school diploma and CNC training. A proven positive work record is a must.
